It is a common practice when giving the names of parents to name the seed parent first.
The structure of the corolla is similar to that of the iris. A trough-shaped petal at the stem changes into a spoon-shaped one. It's an interesting odd variety with fleshy and springy petals.
This seed perent is not cyclamen. A true surprise. Will it transmit characteristics traits of species to next generations?
The parent Fr.Roge - 'Morgengruss' thanks to its unusually long petals highlighted that trait. 'Korpriwa' was selected to be the seed parent and one of the reasons for that is the fact that the outer petals are much bigger from the inner ones. If only it is possible to decrease the size of the inner petals of the calyx/cup? without changing the exisitng form:)
